What we do

We see textile waste not as an end, but as a new beginning.

By enabling a true textile-to-textile circular value chain, we are creating a world where fabrics can be recycled again and again—moving beyond the linear bottle-to-fiber model.

From recycled polymers to fabrics

Texnascis polymerises recycled monomers into high-quality PET resins for fibers, which arethen spun into fabrics.

We connect the entire value chain, from recycled feedstock to finished textile, by scaling up,upgrading recycled monomers, and offering flexible collaboration models.

This flexibility lowers CAPEX and OPEX barriers, allowing partners to scale sustainably withoutbuilding new infrastructure.

R&D Development

Improving recycled monomers

  • Texnascis receives recycled monomers (such as rPTA, rMEG, rBHET, rDMT).
  • In our R&D facilities in Italy and USA, we improve their quality and performance through small-scale polymerisation and testing.
  • This step ensures consistent recipes, mechanical and visual performance, and the foundation for scalable production.

Industrial-scale polymerisation

  • Once improved, these monomers are polymerised at our industrial plant in Portugal, where we run pilot to large-batch campaigns.
  • Here, Texnascis transforms recycled inputs into PET polymers and PET fibers, preparing for downstream fiber spinning and textile manufacturing.
  • We bridge lab results to industrial reality by validating recipes at scale, ensuring stable output.

Flexible collaboration models

(Co-location or Tolling)

  1. Upstream (“Up”) – Recyclers send materials to our facility; we handle polymerisation and fiber production.
  2. Downstream (“Down”) – Texnascis sets up its polymerisation process inside the partner’s facility.
  3. Tolling agreement – We process recyclers’ feedstock under agreed terms, returning upgraded polymers or fibers.
